Noteworthy collaborations in AMAs history

There’s only a few days left til the American Music Awards and we’re excited to see all the potential collaborations among all of the performers. Usher and Bieber? Pitbull and Nicki Minaj? The possibilities are endless. For now, let’s get hyped up for this Sunday’s performances by showing off some  favorite collaborations that have taken place on the AMAs stage.

Alicia Keys and Jay Z 2009

Keys starts the performance off by singing Frank Sinatra’s timeless hit “New York, New York.”

NKOTBSB 2010

Talk about a dream come true for a Generation Y girl. If only ‘Nsync and 98 Degrees joined them…shirtless.

Timbaland and Nelly Furtado 2009

When Timbaland produced Shock Value II, the track “Morning After Dark” shook the radio stations. This performance makes no exception.

J.Lo and Pitbull 2011

This collaboration got JLo a lot of attention for her…uh, provocative dance moves. Surely, most male viewers didn’t mind.

Will.I.Am, Mick Jagger, and JLo 2011

These three artists coming together is amazing regardless of the song, but their performance was flawless. They used Fighting Gravity, a performance group that stages gravity-defying illusions.

What are some collaborations that you want to see at the American Music Awards?
